The Devil's Shroud - March 16th, 1718
Summary: Senior Trader Black arrived at Port Royal on a Grand Maritime Union trading vessel, disguised himself and escaped on a rowboat with some mapping supplies and gold. Once at port he found his way out of town and to the tavern, where he walked in on a bar fight between some pirates and Garish Garret. The fight quickly escalated as Garret embarrassed himself by missing both shots in his pistols and running upstairs. Chased into his room, he told Beppi the Bird to flee, who glided out through the window. Garret threw a lantern into the hall, starting a fire, and shut the door. He jumped out through the window using a bed sheet as a parachute, and rolled his ankle. He is quickly knocked out when the bedside table is thrown at him from the window. Black helped the duo finish the fight, then Gaspar approached them and asked if they could take him to the Sea of Thieves in exchange for the map to the Devil's Shroud. A crew formed with the 4 of them, and they set out to find a ship. At the docks they tried to sneak onto a ship, but they noticed a group of pirates who also happened to be attempting the same thing. The crew went to the bell tower and rang it, hoping to spook the larger crew and sneak away on a smaller boat in the commotion. The plan worked, but the only ship left after the pirates burn the rest is a sad little sloop. When they tried to leave port, they were intercepted by a GMU Man o' War, alerted by the bell and informed of the destruction of the tavern. They fled using their small ship to their advantage. They stopped at Isla Mosquito to resupply, buy a shifting map, then they stopped in the tavern and hear about the Pirate Lord from Rowenna. They then sailed to the entrance to the Devil's Shroud, but run afoul in the mists. When they awoke, they had made it to the Sea of Thieves.

An Easy Start - March 21st, 1718
Summary: The crew had sailed to Golden Sands Outpost and celebrated in the tavern all day, and when they woke in the morning, they met Duke, a friendly Bilge Rat in the tavern; Wanda, a rude and irritable weaponsmith who says she has some KILLER invention; and Salty, a talking skeletal parrot sitting outside Wanda's shop. When they looked at the back of their Devil's Shroud map, they found a riddle and a symbol which led them to the Gold Hoarders, where they bought a treasure map. After they recovered the chest, they sailed to Sanctuary Outpost to get it unlocked. At the docks they had a chicken delivery assignment thrust at them by Senior Trader Mollie, and found a bounty poster for Quick Dicken, the the bosun of Lord Graymarrow. After sailing to the Lagoon of Whispers, they took out Quick Dicken and his gang of skeleton grunts, but once they liberated his skull, another crew of pirates stole it and sailed away, on a ship called the Faithful Gull. Washed up on the island, Black finds a journal belonging to, "Captain Flameheart."
